You have to keep in mind Arma was never designed to be played with a game pad and its Impossible to do every thing you need to do with a game pad in this game .And that's why you wont ever get full controller support. Jun 25, 2013 · The beauty of pc gaming for me is choice and if i or anyone else chooses to use a gamepad over m+kb then surely that is up to the individual. Arma is not a twitch shooter so lightening reactions with a prescision mouse arent entirely necessary anyway. i have a sidewinder x8 keyboard and a rat7 gaming mouse and still prefer the pad!!!.

Sep 13, 2012 · To answer andersson's question, full gamepad support means that complex gameplay functions like double tapping for that matter should be already programmed into the control scheme. While Arma 2 has the option to customize the control scheme it has no "useable" default control scheme.

Jul 03, 2009 · whats up mikerace, slx and ecs are pretty good but i suggest XAM, you will find it in modules on the add on page and it's the last mod in there. also arma does support the xbox 360 controller you just have to manually set it up which is not hard but just tedious to get the controller configed to the way you like it.
