Oct 26, 2009 · Some of the new iMacs have an ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics card. On Apple's Snow Leopard technical specifications page, they list all of the graphics card that work with OpenCL. The ATI Radeon HD 4670 isn't one of them!

Confusing About OpenCL Driver and Software. I am new in OpenCL. I have an Dell XPS 1645 laptop which has ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics card and a Intel CPU. I saw that AMD's software does not support OpenCL stuff for my graphics card but in Khronos website, my video card is seen as OpenCL supported.

Feb 07, 2010 · Does you board use AGP or PCI Express bus? The key to this problem is AGP bus, which requires a different driver than PCI Express. As far as I know, HD 4650, HD 4670 and some mobile chipsets are the only AMD products with AGP bus and OpenCL support…Reviews: 10

Dec 21, 2009 · If, like me, you have both ATI and NVIDIA drivers on your system, the GPU code path of AMD’s OpenCL won’t work. Only the CPU code path will be ok. Yes, my friends, AMD provides OpenCL with CPU and GPU support. Really cool. To be sure your system is clean, just run Guru3D’s driver sweeper to remove ForceWare leftovers.

ati hd 5870 So far OpenCL can see both nVidia GPUs and the CPUs, but nothing I do will allow it to see the 5870. My plan is to use the 9400 as my display GPU and leave the 5970 and the 480 as just compute GPUs.
