Jan 27, 2012 · I do have a ati 5770, a one without two div inputs, just one dvi and one vga. But, the vga does not seem to work at all. What I have done : Installed OSX SL by following instructions using iBoot ati 5xxx v.3, and then using multibeast, vervet init et graphics enablers=NO, everything works fine, except the dual monitor.

Jan 18, 2013 · The 5770 and 5870 support up to three simultaneous displays each. You do not need an additional graphics card, although that is one possible, but very expensive, solution. The 5770 and 5870 have a shortage of power to run converters to what ATI calls "Legacy" connection methods.

Jul 05, 2012 · ATI Radeon HD 5770 and HD 7770 won't show 3 monitors. This problem has gone on for ages. HD 5770: 3 monitors have worked for a few months, than worked again after I replaced the Display Port adaptor for 2 months. This always has a 3rd monitor go black, but is recognised.

Attempt to scour forums but it seems this is a problem that several people have run into with no working solution yet except for an upgrade to 10.6.5 beta which I don't have access to.
