I remember Bibble refused to support converted DNG because for every camera the DNG import filter has to be fine-tuned, so meaning double-work without real benefit. There cannot be just one generic DNG import if best quality shall be achieved.

Jul 28, 2008 · At last count, Bibble "supported" DNG files the way most other raw processing programs do: it only reads DNG for a camera if it already reads the raw file for that particular camera. There are good reasons for that, it's not a flaw in Bibble.

Nov 20, 2007 · Bibble will not support DNG except on select cameras - I happen to own two that aren't on their list. Also, anyone who has converted or will convert their RAW files from a proprietary RAW format to DNG will find that those files do not work with Bibble. They have all these reasons for not supporting it, but it seems that the main reason is that DNG is a format defined by Adobe.

Mar 08, 2013 · I settled on the G15, Bibble reads CR2, everything should be fine. Wrong, of course. I didn't realize that a G9 CR2 is a different animal than a G15 CR2. Bibble was bought by Corel, which apparently has no intention of ever updating anything. They call it "Aftershot Pro," and even if I bought it, it doesn't support the G15.
