Feb 08, 2010 · I'm not sure about your particular problem, but Boot Camp does support Windows 7. People have been using Windows 7 on their Macs since the W7 Beta, using the previous version of Boot Camp. There were some issues, like the LED back-lit keyboard not being able to turn off completely, and an issue with the audio-in/headphone jack.

Nov 04, 2015 · I own several computers. Some PC's and a mid-2010 iMac 27 inch. Windows 10 upgrade worked fine on my PC's. After I signed up for the upgrade on my iMac Bootcamp running Windows 7 Ultimate, Apple announced it will not support my particular iMac version. I have tried to no avail to stop the Windows 10 upgrade, which has failed several times.

Jun 22, 2010 · The main complaint on the Apple Support forum seems to relate to the ATI graphics driver being outdated, which is causing problems for some. As a sidenote, if you are planning on upgrading your Windows Boot Camp install to Windows 7, there’s a utility to help you do that. If you have a late 2009 Mac, there’s a Windows 7 driver pack available.

Sep 24, 2015 · Hi all, I'm trying run a genuine copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) via the BootCamp assistant. I researched a bit and found some information on other posts that in order to run a 32-bit i need to update the drivers from bootcamp 4.0 however, before i even start to install Windows my bootcamp assistant comes up with this image
