Jul 17, 2008 · There is no firmware for the 7940/7960 that offers provides support for LLDP-MED. The newer Firmware releases like 8.3(5) support this on 3rd generation phones like the 7941/7961/7945/7965/7975 etc but not on the older models.

We have the newest version of Call Manager and have sucessfully configured a Cisco 7941 to use LLDP and a seperate voice VLAN on an EX2200. The Cisco 7940 sits at Configuring IP. We cannot find a setting to enable LLDP in Call Manager for the 7940.
