Feb 08, 2011 · Steinberg's Sequencer4 (Nuendo and Cubase) is a VST3 host, but all -properly written- VST2 plugins still work. This comment is so contradictory to what you have been saying before. First you complain that not enough VST3 hosts and plugins are available, then it's called that developers are "wasting their time" rewriting for VST3.

Jan 10, 2018 · So I just bought HALion Sonic 3 and I realize I can't use it in Maschine because it does not support VST3 and HALion does not come with a .dll file. Is there any plug in that acts as a VST host that I can use directly in Maschine? Or, is there any way to record from the HALion Sonic standalone directly into Maschine? Good looks for any help.
