Jun 17, 2010 · The DG834G v3 does not support Annex M currently ah ok. Glad you finally got a straight answer. Sorry I confused things a bit – I managed to confuse the v4 of the firmware version you mentioned with the hardware revision of the Netgear.

My service provider has recently upgraded our network. It is now Annex M compliant. Only problem is that my DG834v4 now cannot connect at the full speed. Yesterday the technician visited and we installed his Zyxel. It was able to connect at 8442 kbps. My DG834 is now connected at 2080 kbps.

Dec 12, 2011 · The response to the question was that my profile is still ADSL2+ Annex M and that I should raise it as a fault. I set the DG834 to Annex M only and it wouldn't create a link but OK if I re-enabled ADSL2+.

It'd say DG834G or DG834Gv2 or DG834Gv3 and so on. RFC 1483 full bridge mode is supported and can be access from a hidden page. However, RFC 1483 full bridge mode is only available on the original DG834G and DG834Gv2 and DG834Gv3. This has been confirm by a Netgear tech support representative on Feb 2011.
