Nov 25, 2017 · Dreamweaver does not support .net controls code completion, (the nearest thing in Dw to intellisense), or the .net framework, even the use of c# is very limited in Dw, the only program i could personally recommend if you wish to code in .net, is Visual Studio.

Are you kidding me? you can easily create asp.net pages with it. you even can code with Notepad Dreamweaver is just an IDE and helps you code faster. I myself recommand you to use VisualStudio IDE for Asp.net, it's the best editor for Asp.net pages – Nasser Hadjloo Apr 6 '11 at 10:44

Dec 20, 2008 · This was back in the days when dreamweaver was run by macromedia. Back when Dreamweaver was in version 4.0 ( way back ). Well on the latest release of CS4 I guess Adobe decided that it was better to not provide any support for .NET guys like myself than to provide support for older ASP.NET 1.1 components.
