Oct 14, 2005 · As a general rule people say PPPoA. No idea the technical side of it but I play dumb and say yes PPPoA. PPPoA is preferable as it has less overhead information in the data packet. Do we have a current spot to refer to that includes all the tech.

Originally when ADSL was introduced only PPPoA was supported but a few years later they upgraded the majority (if not all) exchanges to support PPPoE as well.
