Dec 02, 2014 · If there is some unicode character it does not display it in sharepoint server properly. Eg: If we type double dashes in word it displays as a long dash. If we copy that character to excel and get the copied value from there to our vfp application, it considered as a unicode. if we get ASC() value for that character it returns 150.

Jun 30, 2012 · You can keep the rest of your application in FoxPro, and just call the Crystal report when you need it. Using CR would also solve your other problem, that is, showing part of a text string in bold. I didn't advise going to CR just to solve that problem, but if you are going to use it for its Unicode support, that's another matter. Mike

As far as FoxPro is concerned, CryptoSys API, CryptoSys PKI and Firma SAT treat both a string and a byte array identically, except a string must have an extra zero character at the end and a byte array does not, but the length of the byte array must be specified separately. Any extra bytes passed by the FoxPro function will be ignored.
