I have several of thes cards for cameras and camcorders and that is a lot of memory for the $$$. The micro SD card w/ adapter should work, but a little slower. I have no idea if speed is an issue with Garmins or not.

Nov 21, 2012 · I have a Garmin 1450LMT that I had put a 2GB Transcend microSD card in because a previous update would not fit on the unit. The latest Garmin update apparently exceeded the capacity of that 2GB card so I got a 16GB Lexar Class 10 micro SDHC ($13.99) card for it at Target. I just loaded the latest update to the unit without a problem.

Sep 01, 2008 · I can confirm that too, I contacted Garmin on their technical help desk a few month ago, it only accept the basic microSD, NOT ultra, ultra II, premier & SDHC. However, (I have done a lot of research on this), it appears that some manufactory does make the basic mSD in 4GB, but this was long time ago, it's very hard to buy them now.
