I think when people refer to playing with a six-axis they are just referring to playing GT5 with that controller. Seeing that it has no rumble it is harder to tell when the car is just about to wheel-spin etc. Makes life harder.

The only games they couldn't support would be ones that use the analogue buttons (MGS HD, GT5). Also better materials, it means no more oily substance on the thumbsticks... a weird problem with unused DS2 and DS3 joypads.

This topic is locked from further discussion. I've read that GT5 will support PS Eye by tracking your heads movements (hi there, natal!) and moving drivers head the same way. So i wonder if there is steering with your sixaxis motion sensor (similar to Burnout paradise) in GT5 Prologue...

yes, all those will work with the game. The GT (which i have) is more design for GT5 such as the horn whereas the other two are suited for all racing games but will still work as well. However the GT has no clutch and basic up, down gearbox and the others have clutch and proper gearbox, all will work perfectly with GT5.

Jun 01, 2009 · To answer your question, unfortunately Gran Turismo 5 does not utilise the SIXAXIS motion controller. However, it's probably better to use the analog-sticks for GT5 because the SIXAXIS, while very accurate, is very sensitive and if you move slightly you could screw up your race.
