Mar 24, 2009 · I followed the XSD schema as published in the DMTF OVF specification 1.0. ESX 3.5 does not appear to recognize the XML elements for manifest files and rejects the OVF file. It still is not clear when parts of the OVF specification are currently supported by VMware.
