Apr 21, 2009 · 3945 does not support packet injection on windows, at least not simultaneously with capturing, so it’s no use for it. There is a solution to inject via a 3rd party driver/software (i don’t remember the name…) but then it can’t capture in the same time (that is worthless if you want to use it with aircrack or similar).

Dec 05, 2007 · HOWTO: Intel 4965 AGN Wireless. EDIT: #1: The iwlwifi wifi drivers for both 4965 and 3945 are now in the mainstream kernel, as of 2.6.23, which is now available in Sid. Just install it, and you shouldn't need to do anything else thats described here.

Try using Backtrack or Blackbuntu. Those two distribution have better driver support for packet injection. Some wireless cards need specially modified drivers. Once you figure out which one you need you can install it in Ubuntu. Backtrack and Blackbuntu are worth using for that purpose though.

Oct 31, 2017 · a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 card in it with the chipset Intel PMB5502. a Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN card in it with the chipset Intel PC82535MDE (chip1), Intel JC82535RDE2 (chip2) and I was wondering if these were compatible with Aircrack-ng for listening, and injection? Intel centrino advanced 6200-n does support both monitor mode and frame injection with iwlwifi driver. There are some intricacies involved on driver side though so it is best to use very recent kernel to make it work reliably.

Nov 27, 2014 · hello and thanks for the support! im pentesting my network at work and want to use aireplay-ng --deauth but have no success when i run:~# aireplay-ng -9 mon0 i get: No Answer insted of: Injection Is Working! same happend if i run the test on wlan0 or if i run it on my direct bssid i'm runnig kali linux booted from a live-usb.
