May 04, 2011 · Depends on whether you are asking about the 21.5" or 27" i5 iMac. According to this page, [support.apple.com], the i5 in the 21.5" iMac does have hyper-threading, but that is a dual-core chip. The quad-core i5 in the 27" iMac does not support hyper-threading.
