Feb 12, 2010 · My two 9800GTX+'s don't seem to like Left 4 Dead 2 when enabled. No, I'm not disabling SLI, because that would give me crap-to-mediocre FPS. Whenever I load a map after another, I get godawful FPS and mouse delay like no one could ever imagine, however, this can be fixed with a quick Alt+Tab out and back, but sometimes, the Alt+Tab does no help at all.

SLI never scales 100%. Most benches I have seen have 1080ti 20-50 FPS above 1070. 1080Ti is arguably a more stable setup than 1070 SLI. I have been running SLI setups since Fermi. I had 3 GTX470's at one point. I love SLI and what it can do for you when you want to run high resolutions and max settings. That being said, SLI is dying.

Mar 03, 2012 · Is it just me or is this game worse in SLI. I get around 70-90 with 2 580s. Both of them are around 45 gpu usage. I have prefer max performace on. Why is it that I get better performance with just 1 580? And for some games, do you have to turn of SLI to get better performance ?
