    https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2103693-centos-7-does-it-come-with-usb3-drivers
Jan 18, 2018 · USB drivers are actually part of the Linux kernel. CentOS 7 is on Kernel 3.10, which supports USB 3.0 (it has been supported since kernel 2.6.31). If you're looking for full USB 3.1 support (including gen2 superspeed support), that became part of the Linux kernel in 4.6, which will presumably come in a future CentOS release.
