Feb 27, 2013 · I just bought a new HP Envy with Windows 8 on it. I am trying to load an MPEG-2 file into Windows Movie Maker (2012) but can only hear audio - it shows no video. Microsoft just raised the price to buy Windows 8 Pro to $99 and I don't want to buy Pro just to be able to see video. Is there a cheaper way to get MPEG-2 video into Windows Movie Maker?
