Jun 23, 2010 · PPro2 is not supported by Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit. I doubt even if you get the audio issue resolved that you would be able to edit and export properly anyway. PPro2 was not even certified for Vista 32-bit or 64-bit.

The currently installed soundcard driver does not support DirectSound Input. Recording audio is not possible. I have tried to reinstall the audio drivers found here in the support section (dated 2012) and the drivers from Realtek (dated a few days ago) and neither seem to enable DirectSound.
