Jan 04, 2017 · The only real way to support us is to do the work (or pay somebody else to) and submit a pull request - it sounds like the cropping could be done in the kernel driver, although that might not be the most efficient implementation, so all the necessary information should be available.

Nov 04, 2016 · The OpenCV4Tegra does not support some videoIO features, and "HIGHGUI ERROR: V4L/V4L2: VIDIOC_S_CROP" was reported for all cameras we've ever tried. It does not affect camera functionality. Thanks

Source and target rectangles are defined even if the device does not support scaling or the VIDIOC_G/S_CROP ioctls. Their size (and position where applicable) will be fixed in this case. All capture and output device must support the VIDIOC_CROPCAP ioctl such that applications can determine if scaling takes place.
