May 13, 2019 · I have a Seagate 2TB Expansion, and I have one partition formatted in FAT32 (MBR, not GPT as the PS3 does not support it) and one in NTFS. The purpose of the NTFS partition is to get around the file size limit of 4GB that is imposed on the FAT32 file system, without the need for splitting files into 4GB chunks.
