It takes more effort to post a question like this than to just look at an R4 review. @quinterrya: No. The nopass function is for booting the slot-2 cart into NDS mode. If you wanted to play GBA, then you don't need any sort of passthrough at all.

Sep 19, 2008 · Best Answer: Some versions of the R4DS will only support DS downloads. If you have the second updated version, then GBA downloads will be supported but if you have the first version then you cannot and there are no updates to let you, simply because the hardware will not take it.
