The audio from the remote computer you are controlling, or Server, will be transmitted to the Viewer, which is the device you are using to control the remote computer. The audio output mix is captured from the server machine, utilizing the Opus library for encoding.

Based on my searches, only Windows Remote Desktop supports audio -- but it requires the server device to be logged out. This is no good, since my laptop is the server in this case and I want to use its mouse and keyboard!

Mar 19, 2011 · none of the current remote vnc/remote desktop apps support audio/video streaming. Sling is supposedly developing an iPhone app but it's only been shown as a proof-of-concept--no release dates yet. so, sorry, nothing yet. I have a feeling Simplify Media will eventually release a video player, considering how awesome the music player is.
