May 16, 2004 · I appreciate that NTFS on removable optical media may be a non-starter, but I don't really know why devices that are essentially removable 'hard drives' are also supposedly unable to use NTFS. Having said that, I have formatted a 1GB Jaz cartridge with NTFS and it worked (well, for a month or 2, after which it freaked and broke completely).
