Jun 05, 2006 · The problem is the container, not the format. MP3 wrapped in a proper container like MP4 or MKA would not have this problem. The cue method does since it does not actually have a container, and thus cannot properly seek. (you'd see the same problem if you tried to do this on a raw .aac stream instead of an m4a file with AAC inside)

Nov 13, 2015 · Thanks very much Maurits. I get this problem so far with all AAC files, but all of the ones that I have are from the same source. I will follow your advice and experiment with this. What you say seems to resonate with/match with what some folks said on the Sansa support website.

Is there going to firmware supporting mpeg-4 audio? It is really annoying that I can't use this type of file on the Clip+. Considering my entire libary is in .m4a and iTunes is the most popular music store that sells only .m4a files, I feel it is not right for SanDisk to not include this file type to the Clip+.
