Voice and Data at the same time does work on Sprint I have used it several times with the S8. Now that being said it may vary from device to device as it Always does no matter who the carrier is. Sometimes if there are issues it could be a device issue as well as a carrier it just depends.

The Galaxy S5 which is a Sprint Spark enabled device is not able to support simultaneous Voice and Data connectivity. Sprint representatives have been saying that it does, but they leave out that the phone must be connected to wifi. It does not work using the cell radios.

The spark network (iPhone 6 will be compatible) does not support simultaneous voice and data anyway. Of course this is referring to outside the use of wifi. Apple does not appear to want to make any changes to the phone so as a result, more Sprint users will leave because of a flaw with the device.
