Jun 20, 2013 · Only older games support only WEP connections. Newer games like your White 2 support WPA/WPA2 on DSi or 3DS as well. I used WPA connection on my DSi with Black/White and Black/White 2 games too. It should work for you. Try erasing the settings on your DSi and set them up new. And be sure to used the "Advanced Setup".

Then again that would not work either as the VAST MAJORITY of all DS games ... use WEP connectivity .. maby with the odd few of the latest/newest games may or may not support WPA ....anyhow basically no chance on the DS/DSlite it does not even support anything other than WEP as standard!

Feb 04, 2017 · DSiware and pretty much all DS games that came out after 2010 support WPA/WPA2 if you play them on a DSi or 3DS. Don't believe anybody who tells you otherwise. If you were to make a homebrew that would support WPA/WPA2 you'd have to make it able to run in DSi mode.

Apr 20, 2012 · No, the DS does not support anything other than WEP encryption unfortunately. It simply will not work with WPA/WPA2. You can either switch your router to WEP temporarily, which is annoying and sounds like not really an option with your roommates, or set up a second connection.
