Dec 08, 2011 · Yes, they certainly are HSPA compatible as is the 3GS. Only the iPhone 4s supports HSPA+, the iPhone 4 does not. Not to be rude, but read the specs that Apple has posted for the 4 and 4S, see the link in my previous posting. Both the 4 and 4S support HSUPA and HSDPA.

At least they're not when by saying "4G" you're referring to the 4G or 4G LTE cellular network standard , which is the successor to the 3G standard used by the iPhone 4 & 4S.

T-Mobile does not even offer 4G LTE. They only have 4G HSPA+.It isn't even real 4G, but has similar speeds. Anyway, the iPhone 4s does not support LTE anyway. It does support HSPA on other carriers ONLY. No iPhone will give you anything better than 2G on T-mobile.
