To upload a trail to your watch from a .GPX file do the following: Go to PLANNING on the TomTom Sports website. Click Upload trail. Double-click a GPX file on your computer. TomTom Sport uploads the trail. Click the name if you want to change it. Connect your watch to the computer to sync the trail.

These tracks which get created as GPX files are incapable of showing stops on them - they only have a an end point - is that correct? My understanding is that if I want intermediary stops I need to have an ITN file to create a route, not a track. However, the TT website does create ITNs, only GPXs. According to Wiki, ITNs are TT proprietary files.

Jul 27, 2015 · I need a GPS with one simple requirement - I should be able to import custom routes via a gpx file. The GPS should not just pick out the destination from the gpx file, but follow the entire route plotted in the gpx file as closely as possible.
