Your current actiontec doesn't support N only B+G. Any router will work with the verizon fios modem/router so you can get a wireless n router , whatever you do don't buy the actiontec type n router its not as good as it sounds. Just buy a different 3rd party router and hook it up to your actiontec router.

Re: FiOS wireless 802.11n. Currently Verizon provides the Rev G Actiontec only to customers who purchase the 150mbps FiOS tier service. If you want 802.11n, without the 150mbps service tier, you are going to be waiting a long time unless you buy your own 802.11n wiereless access point.

802.11n devices should be backwards compatible with the Wireless G router Verizon sends out (Though if you have a Rev. F ActionTec, you have a Draft N router or the Rev G, a fully compliant Wireless N router, both of which Verizon offers out. Rev. G are 150Mbps customers, Rev. F are by luck).
