Jul 25, 2013 · Ok, the problem with my broken vlc Blu-Ray support is solved. It was the program "Samsung Magician", which made some changes in Windows7 for high performance SSD support. After going back to an system restore point before the installation of this program, all Blu-Rays are recognized again by windows7 and could be played by vlc without problems.

Sep 09, 2019 · When trying to play an m2ts file that I ripped from a Blu-ray disc, the time slider shows that it is moving, but the screen is black and there is no sound. However if I click on the time slider .. just past the start point .. the video plays perfectly. Is here something that needs to be set? I am running VLC 64-bit version 3.0.7.1. Thank you.

Apr 07, 2018 · With all of those files in place, I open BDs through the Media/Open Disc menu. I have to select the Blu-ray radio button before selecting Play. The only drawback I've run into so far is no Java support for menus. I get the warning, "Java required: This Blu-ray disc requires Java for menus support. Java was not found on your system.

Jan 30, 2016 · I decided as a last ditch effort to copy the aacs folder from my appdata folder into my Progams VideoLan\VLC folder and the Program (x86) same location and I was able to run my Toy Story 3 Blu-ray. I am really new at this, so please go easy on me, if I managed to make the playback work by other means, which I am not aware of.
