Feb 27, 2016 · This is fine but because of this the dvr-ms file cannot be converted to a different file format even on the same PC. The only way I can see around this issue of supporting dvr-ms files is that Windows 10 had the Media Center dvr-ms playback software.

Feb 27, 2008 · The dvr-ms files play in GBPVR and WatchHDTV, so I have to assume I have the proper codec.I guess my real question is how to get WMP11 to use this codec. I can live without it working in WMP11 but considering that DVR-MS is a MICROSOFT RECORDED file it has become my quest to make WMP11 play it.
