Most Real Audio and Real Video should work fine with VLC 2.0.0, but if you have a file that doesn't work, then post this in a thread to the support forum. Why can't VLC use CoreAVC, FFDshow, AC3filter, etc. codecs? VLC only uses built-in codecs (see Wikipedia:VLC media player) so it doesn't support VfW or DirectShow APIs for codecs.
