Nov 29, 2013 · Even tho is does work with FC and Tape drives / libraries ( if you have an separate HBA that is passed throuh to the VM ), the official word from VMware is "not supported". We have an Quantum i40 directly via FC connected to an Dell R720 with Qlogic HBA passed throuh to the VeeamBackup VM.

I asked around to see if maybe somebody had played with it and knew how to get it working but didn't find anybody that would admit to having done that.
