Oct 10, 2018 · Hi. Is there any way I can add an app for Amazon Prime videos on WDTV Live Streaming Player? (a) WD could provide an update for the firmware including Amazon Prime. or (b) I could download an app on USB and use it on WD the ‘Apps on USB’ app. Thanks in advance for any answers.

Jun 14, 2013 · When you first hit the power button on the remote, the WD-Live logo shows up, it loads the network, then the screen goes blank for a few seconds, then the logo comes back up, and it finishes loading. Once that is done, the navigation is pretty fast. Although, the media is displayed and scrolls horizontally, instead of vertically.

Mar 15, 2016 · Most people are buying Apple TV or Roku these days but I stick with my WD TV live plus because it still plays all the file types that those other boxes can't. MKV, AVI, MP4, you name it. I have it connected to my home network via a small wireless Ethernet dongle you can get for cheap for streaming content from the internet and from my PC.3.8/5
