No, the Wii doesn't have one but you could buy an HDMI converter to upscale and play your Wii games through HDMI on your HDTV. Another alternative would be to get a Wii U instead and all your Wii games will automatically be upscale to HD via the Wii U's own HDMI input but if you don't want to pay more then this converter is your best choice.

HDMI component makes no sense. It's either HDMI or component cables. And of course it won't be upscaled. Since when does the Wii have the power to render its games in HD. Or bypass upscaling with Wii U.

Nov 08, 2008 · Best Answer: There is no HDMI input. Wii only supports composite, s-video, and component cables. You will need to buy a specific cable for each signal. The cable in the box is basic composite. S-video is enhanced 480i. Component is as good as it gets for Wii, and ir supports full progressive 480p.
