Feb 20, 2007 · WPA2 works fine for me... I am running WPA2 network (AES) at home and the Wii picked up on it no problem. The speed became dramatically faster after I switched to channel 11, since there are multiple networks near me, and I suspect all my neighbors left their defaults (probably 6).

Aug 16, 2006 · Personal opinion: if the Wii only supports WEP, its wireless functionality is basically worthless to me. If it only does wired with an adapter, I will be doubly annoyed.

Go to "Network Settings", select Infrastructure Mode, then "Scan", select your SSID, then manually select the encryption type "WPA-PSK (AES)" and proceed to typing in your network key.
