Dec 04, 2009 · However becasue our current cluster already has various MBR basic disks will there be any issues if we add a new disk and configure it as GPT while the other existing disks are all MBR basic disks - as mentioned before this is due to the size limitation of the MBR basic disk as we need a disk in the cluster thats bigger than 2.0TB.

Mar 23, 2009 · Let me rephrase the question. If I add an GPT disk can WHS add it to the storage pool.? Given that WHS is based on Windows 2003 server then it should be able to see these partitions.
