Nov 19, 2011 · I want the boot flag ( Boot flag - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) on the first partition and only on it. It contains a menu, that gives me a choice of what OS to boot. Whenever I boot Windows 7 from the second partition, it resets the boot flag to the second partition only and thus I can't get back.

Jan 07, 2014 · If you are using the inbuilt recovery options to perform Startup repair or System restore, then I would suggest you to boot from Windows 7 installation disc to perform the Startup repair. If it fails, then you may check for any restore points to perform System restore booting from Windows 7 installation disc.

To UEFI-boot from a Windows 7 64-bit ISO (Win 7 32-bit UEFI is not supported by Microsoft) you must first convert each ISO to a FAT32 .imgPTN file using MakePartImage and the MPI_FAT32 Desktop shortcut. Do not use the MPI_NTFS Desktop shortcut because that will not UEFI-boot on all systems!
