No lossless support on Windows Phone 7 Just got a Windows 7 phone and having been a Zune owner for many years I was expecting to be able to replicate the Zune experience - ie; lossless music combined with an outstanding sound stage (certainly better than any iThing I have heard).

As i read on the forums, WMA Lossless is not a supported filetype on Windows Phone 7.x devices. But playing a little bit on my phone i discovered, that it is possible to play this media format, just the correct statement is "not natively supported".

Mar 07, 2014 · But is it compatible with WMA Lossless? I was able to transfer WMA Lossless files, but when I right-clicked the audio file and went under property, it displayed "0kbps". If I transfer an MP3 file, it will show "256kbps". Does this mean that I am losing quality if I am listening to a WMA Lossless File on my phone; or is it fully compatible?
