Oct 25, 2013 · The Surface Pro pen will not work on the RT as the RT does not have an Active Digitizer (the Pro uses a modified Wacom Feel Digitizer). You would need to use a Capacitive Stylus for the RT, I use the Adonit Jot Pro personally and it works reasonably well for inking. The rubber tipped ones work OK for navigation but not inking.

Feb 25, 2013 · It'd be much more mobile, and you'd get the digitizer support for which you're looking, at the same price as an RT. With an Atom processor, you'd get about the same battery life and be able to run both RT and x86 applications.

Jan 23, 2014 · I have a Bamboo that I currently use with my Acer S3 on Windows 8, and we all know it works perfectly. I have the same concern for the Surface RT and earlier while doing some search I bumped into a Wacom Germany thread and saw a post by Wacom itself that the Bamboo will work like a mouse with the RT, i.e., just like using it without a driver on Windows 8.
