Apr 10, 2011 · I have Vista premium home edition on my computer. I currently am running off a 500 Gb hardrive that came with the computer. I have added two 2 Tb drives that I've set up as a RAID 1 array in the BIOS but Windows does not see the array.

Mar 26, 2009 · The software RAID feature of both RAID 0 and RAID 1 are only supported in the Server operating system and you are not allowed to create RAID in Windows Vista OS. For the client computer, we recommend our customer to purchase the RAID controller card to build the hardware RAID.

Dec 24, 2019 · I've tried downloading the Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows 2003 drivers for my RAID controlled, but they wouldn't work either, not a big surprise. I've tried setting the discs to dynamic discs, and then making a raid but Windows Vista just doesn't support raid 1 as far as I know.
