Recently, i have been using Windows XP Professional SP3, and i realized that my on-board graphics card is old. So i decided to buy a new one and replace it. The problem is Windows XP only supports DirectX 9.0c, and i don't see much cards support this DirectX version. The most i see is DirectX 10 and 11 supported graphics card.

Jun 25, 2012 · Xp SP3 does not support Directx 10. Directx 10 is not needed, but it does produce better graphics if the games are designed to take advantage of it. Directx 10 is slower than Directx 9, Directx 10.1 resolves these speed issues.
