Aug 12, 2018 · Let's first clear up some facts: IA-32 is 32-bit x86, while Itanium is IA-64. 64-bit x86 is AMD64. Even though AMD64 is fully compatible with IA-32, 32-bit EFI executables will not run on a 64-bit EFI implementation.

Jan 16, 2006 · I'm running XP x86-64 and there is no EFI folder with everything unhidden. I'm not sure if its not there because it doesn't exist in 64 bit x86 Windows XP or if it didn't install because my motherboard and chipset (nForce 4 SLi) use a BIOS and not EFI. Either way it might be a moot point since Core is a 32 bit CPU.

hello everyone ! I am going to install UEFI windows 10 on my 500GB disk and also want to install a windows xp sp3 on my 80GB disk . I know that xp doesn't support GPT & UEFI so i keep that 80GB MBR and fortunately my motherboard has dual boot BIOS so i don't need to change from UEFI to BIOS everytime i run win xp .

Sep 08, 2018 · winload.exe/efi replaced the "Windows loader" feature of NTLDR, and we need a winload.efi that can boot XP x64. The one from 5270 x86 is already incompatible with NT 5.x kernel, it won't even load, complaining NTKRNLPA.EXE is corrupted.
