Jan 21, 2014 · i tried to install iis 6.0 on xp but it's failed. first i installed iis from add/remove programs--> windows components --> internet information services. when iis 5 installation completed i tried to install iis 6.0 resource kit and iis 6 manager. after installing all the above i checked the iis version. it displays version 5.1.

Mar 25, 2009 · I can't remember which version of what and which SP I installed and unistalled in which order but I eneded up with IIS 6.0 installed, plus .NET (redistributables) 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 SP1, and 3.5. And... I have a windows prompt after each boot reading "Windows cannot open the file A0002198.rbf" plus options for picking an application...
