Sep 18, 2007 · Best Answer: No, it is NT based, so there is no dos. Win 3.1, 9x, and ME are dos based so you could close windows and run dos. There is a command prompt which others have alluded to, but you can't reach it by closing windows. You can run dos and Win9x programs in it, by running the compatibility wizard.
