The benefits are simply from better hardware, not the features of the hardware itself. You get the best out of wow by throwing beefier hardware and bigger numbers at it.

    WoW will already use more than one core. You will see more use out of the main core, but it will spread tasks out. There are also guides out there to force the threads wow uses into different cores if you really want, but I don't think you'll notice much change if your CPU is even remotely new since it will be able to handle WoW with a single core without much hassle.
