I agree. WRT160N v 1 doesn’t support dual band wireless signal. However, if you are referring to the WRT610N v1, that one has dual band support.

I believe the WRT160N router only has 2.4GHz band and what FurryNutz is referring to that supports the 5GHz band is the WRT610N router. The Channel Width 20MHz-40MHz c ontrols how broad the wireless signal is for transferring data.. If you want to make use of the 5GHz network to maximize your smart TV capability, I'd recommend upgrading to a new dual-band router that supports 5GHz band.
