Jul 10, 2019 · Xbox One X ultrawide monitor support? I want to know if there is any existing ultrawide (21:9) monitor support currently on or planned for the One X in any resolution; 1080p, 1440p 2160p, etc. I haven't been able to find anything yet, so please feel free to respond at a later time.

Feb 14, 2018 · Just bought an Xbox one X for 4k Gameplay but now the worst part first it looked the same as my old Xbox one then went to settings all I could change was from 720p to 1080p why doesn't it go all the way to 4k while my Monitor supports 4k at 50hz on HDMI and 60hz on display port.

You fucked up dude. Even on PC only a handful of games have ultrawide support. Replace it with a nice 4k HDR TV. Ultrawide resolution is 2560x1080p or 3440x1440p. The Xbox simply doesn't render games in those resolutions.

/u/Fr3shMint, it does indeed stretch the image. Source: I have tried myself. You can either stretch the image to fit your entire screen, or display in 1920 by 1080 but with black bars filling the remaining pixels. I think the nicer LG Ultrawides have a feature where you can display the image from two separate sources at the same time.
